TI2 pitch cannot follow a simple diagonal line wtf

I've noticed that when drawing a straight line to automate pitch the TI2 just can't do it. Sounds like it's "stepping up" instead of just a straight, smooth rise...anyone else have this problem? Super frustrating.

The pitchbend is pretty smooth. Is that what you are automating? Maybe try going into the common edit page that lets you change the pitchbend's amount and mode from exponential to linear. Alternately, could try increasing the portamento, in the osc menu, and just trigger the two notes.

Yes it is frustrating but midi pitch bend is the way.

Automating Pitch Bend via Midi SysEx (solved)

(solved, see EDIT below)
Can please someone tell me with which number A??? the Pitch Bend can be automated in the DAW?

Almost everything is there (1000s of options) like e.g.

- A001 Modulation Wheel

but why not a

- A??? Pitch Bend (Wheel)

I played around with e.g.

- A025 OSC2 Semitone

and if I go up +2 semitones, it does exactly what the Pitch Bend wheel is doing on my Midi Keyboard, when moving it up. BUT only for OSC2. Why is there not a

- A??? OSC1 Semitone
- A??? OSC3 Semitone (needed if a patch is using OSC3)

Anyone have a clue how to achieve such a basic thing?

EDIT:
I found out that the SysEx document I found in the internet, was not complete. I found a virus user manual which had the SysEx included, and here there is what I am looking for:

- A020 OSC1 Semitone

and

- B043 OSC3 Semitone (sofar I don't know how to specify B<values>, but in my concrete case, the used patch is not using OSC3.
