is there the Virus A factory bank available for TI?

I have a Snow and need the whole Virus A factory bank to use in it, is this possible anyhow? Is it somewhere among the Snow RAM/ROM patches? I actually have no idea what patches were in the A factory bank but I need them all now for certain task.

Thanks in advance.

From the Virus Control Tutorial:

Importing sounds from earlier Virus models

If you already own an older Virus synthesizer, you will probably want to use your favourite patches in the TI now.

The easiest way to do this is to transmit a Dump of each bank into your sequencer, and export each bank as a separate MIDI le (.mid). Once you have done this, place a copy of the .mid(s) in your Patches folder. When Virus Control is next started, the banks will appear in the Personal Libraries list.

You may well have accumulated large numbers of sounds in SoundDiver, of course. These should be exported in .mid format as well, but beware that Virus Control will only import banks of 128 sounds maximum - any surplus will be deleted! Please be sure to export your SoundDiver library patches in batches of no more than 128!
So that means, the TI can load the sounds of older versions. Now the question is rather how to get the Virus A bank...

Did some back-to-the-future jiggery pokery with the Wayback Machine, all the way back to the year 2000...

Virus A (OS v2.51) soundset:-

The page where I got it from (you need to click 'Sounds' from the left-hand menu):

https://web.archive.org/web/20000304...es/index2.html

I digress, but I also separately found an early version of the Virus B (OS v3) soundset:-

http://www.infekted.org/virus/files/...OS3-sounds.mid

...However this uses features the Virus A didn't have, as the last OS for the Virus A was OS v2.51. The Virus B also continued to evolve after this, given that the last OS for the Virus B finished up at OS v4.9, so the OS 3 sounds may not sound the same as the ones that finally shipped with OS v4.9. I believe the final Virus B (OS v4.9) set was a "best of" set of 1024 patches.

Timo, thanks a ton!

Sorry, I was distracted from that project and forgot about the topic, but thanks anyway, you made my day mate!
