Juho Lepist?'s Soundset Vol.1 v.1.5
1 Attachment(s)
My previous soundset sucked and all the blame goes for sounddriver for messing up my delay settings.
Now this improved sound set contains 128 patches and all delay settings are ok. This set contains some incredible pads and leads with some unique EFX (some pretty hilarious ones). This sound set has quite wide variety of diffirent type of sounds so this is somekind of all around sound set. It has something for everybody. If you downloaded my previous sound set and didn't liked it I can say this is atleast BILLION ZILLION TEN MILLION times better. So give it a shot before you say my sounds are rotten. Edit: The sounds are loaded in bank B. |
I loved it, much better.
I kept some of the pads, very nice warmth.. I wish had ur sounddesigning skills. Trilstr patch was beutiful |
As soon as i get my Virus back I'll be checking out your latest soundset. Im looking forward to it!
Ill give you some detailed feed back if you want :) DS |

I think there might have been a mix up at my dealer (Turnkey..in London). I was supposed to get a new Virus KC...but I think I was mistakingly given an ex-demonstration model. My KC had scuff marks on it and one of the knob caps worked loose within 2 days.....the cap came off :(
So im waiting for a 'NEW' one now hehe DS |
how do you load a virus soundset into your virus?
|
Juho,
Thanks for the re-vamped soundset. If Sounddiver mangled your patches, I am fearfuil it will screw up mine or my virus as well. Is there another app I can use to transfer patches into/out of my KC? Thanks Bro!!! 8) |

Just set the loading method from the Control menu (MIDI RX), disable possible SysEx filter from the sequencer and off you go. To get the patches individually just slow down the tempo. An example of one-by-one loading method: 1. Set the MIDI RX setting from Control menu to EditBuffer (or similiar, can't recall it) 2. Load the bank MIDI file to a sequencer. 3. Check that there is no SysEx filter activated on the sequencer. 4. Set the tempo to really slow (40bpm or even less) 5. Now start the playback. The patches should load one by one to your Virus' edit buffer (if you seem to get only one patch, the playback is too fast. Try to slow down the tempo more). Pause the playback when a patch is loaded and if you like the patch, store it (if you're loading my soundset, you'll have to store frequently... or not). Then just start the playback again until a new patch is loaded and pause. Quote:

Please don't project your fantasies of being the Gimp in a maximum security penetentiary onto me; it's OK that you want to be lots of people's leather ass-boy, just keep it to yourself and take it easy... 8O |
