Which synth should I buy for making House-music?
 

Is there a synth commonly used in House-productions? Especially for French House... I am after bass and lead sounds...

Yes most people use the SN II for house. As a cheaper alternative try the Novation KS5. Errmm...on second thoughts...just buy a second hand SNII !!

Just remember......ANY synth can be used for ANY type of music. It is largely down to how you program the thing and how you use effects etc etc. Whats more important is whether you like the tone of say, a Nord over a Novation. But fundementally both synths can create the same sound.
