Which synth is this clip made with?

Hey!
I was wondering which synth this clip is made with?
I was thinking a nordlead, but is it possible to get it with a virus?

Isn't this the famous superstring patch :roll: ? If you'll give me a minute? I try to simulate this patch.

let me add that I'm not an expert synthprogrammer hehe.

any tips of how I can improve the sound in this mp3 clip? :roll:

you should export it in lower quality.... like 24 to get that noisey bad quality sound :) maybe then i will sound more like the original and you will know if you did a good job
from which track this was taken? it sounds good...

nrgy 30.08.2003 01:26 PM

the track is
Chemistry - Desire (Vocal Club Mix)

You mean Export with lower Bit depth?
I exported it in 44100/24

is this a good trick to do with synth sounds with much high freq/noise, to export it to for example 96kbps? and use in the mix? exported the JP clip to 96kbps, and then it wasen't so noisy. and I felt I could hear it clearer in some way, but also not so clear :lol:

Tomer=Trance 30.08.2003 01:56 PM

after i export to wav
i always convect to mp3 in 24,64,128 and 192 to hear how the mix sounds

This is my first time so don't be disappointed :oops: , but the sample sounds quite nice. Here you can find the sounddiver patch. It's based on the CommerseSV patch you can found in :arrow: THE tutorial.

Hi nrgy, can you upload your JP patch somewhere, so that I can play with it? Or, maybe you should tell us how you did it. I assume you have used the supersaw, haven't you?
