sounds like a formant synth not sure if this can be done with the virus :?

Is that some iraelian psytrance I hear? I'm sure you can do that with the virus, try using filtered sawtooths with and changing the waves to one of the 64 available for the low notes. I'll have a try when I'm near my virus!

Oh, and probably using a bit of chorus and unison twin mode, maybe thin pulse width wave synced with sawtooth?

to get this sound u will most likely need to use both filters modulated by the lfo's, the eq's, no chorus is used here, and u could would need sync for the first sound...because if u didnt know this is 2 sounds alternating...for the second u would need to unison...actually the second one is quite easy...its just a normal detuned saw sound...

format synth or filter emulates human talk (i dont know the exact word)
but it does ah,ea,aa,hh stuff like that using 3 or i think more high pass filters

I think that is a bit extreme for the sound he wants, i really dont think he needs a format synth to do it...the synth sound isnt really talkin..and i have been able to get the virus...to say a few things...and while sober too :lol:
