How do I load the free patches?
 

Guys...

I was able to install the new Virus C OS with no problems via sysex and with Cubase SX. However, when I try to load some of the free patches, nothing happens. Is there somethign that needs to be done differently? Or do I need to specify where the sounds should be installed or something? I appreciate the help!

pay particualr attention to MIDI DUMP RX..

that should solve n e of ya probs...

I think something is wrong with OS 6
I know for a fact midi is being sent out of fl studio, to the virus, because I can draw in notes in the midi out, and they play on the virus. I also know it is working because I see the little c and the cd looking icon (but only for like a millisecond).
It seems pretty straight forward, load the midi and hit play (even tried the slow tempo "trick") and then pick where you want the patches to go (a/b).........so I pick for example a, hit store, this little cd icon comes up then nothing ever happens. (I get a single something stored), but when you go to try these "new" patches out, they are the same a/b my kc came with???????????

I loaded some patches into my Virus using Cubase. When the MIDI file was playing, the Virus did nothing, but then when I turned it off and then on again the new sounds where all there.
