Waldorf D-Pole filter plug-in...
Does anyone have it?
What do you think of it? Is it worth getting? |
I've got it and personally don't recommend it. It's really whistly and I've found it f***s up the sound but doesn't improve it. The North Pole Rez filter is free to download and although it's more basic, I think it's better.

thanks guys!
at the moment i dont have a good filter plug in, so ive been either sending files to my emu sampler and using the filters there, or re-recording files thru the VC (both of which is more time consuming than id like)... ill have to give that northpole filter a go me thinks! u wouldnt happen to have a link or n e thing there smag? |
do you have NI's reaktor modular?
it has some great filters modules and you can build yourself a simple filter and run your stuff thru it... |
There is quite alot of new software filter plugins, each giving different styles. Here a few that i like:
Grm Tools: Bandpass and CombFilter Ohmforce Quad Frahmage Pro Prosoniq Northpole/PiWarp Also as tomer says reaktor, which will come out best but grm tools is really good aswell. :D |
thanks tommy! ill have to try those out....this is great, i have a few more ill have to keep an eye out for....
tommer, i borrowed a copy of reaktor a little while ago, but i have to admit i didnt think of running n e thing thru the filters on it  |

Ive just tried Antares Filter. If your thinking of getting a filter unit then this would be the best one out. Also grm tools classic bundle and perhaps have a look at the ST bundle (This only works on P4`s)
