Sounddiver Saving Patches Without my Permission!!!!!!!

I have been having this problem for a while now with my KC. Everytime I try tweeking out patches in sounddiver(banks a and b) the program automaticaly writes the changes to the KCs ram. I have memory protect set to warn, but it just seems to bypass it and not even care.
This is a problem that really sucks b/c i have lost some really good patches due to this type of "auto save"..

Cheers

The reason why it skips over your warnings is because its sysex as opposed to CC changes.

There's an option in SD to preview changes only.

Hi,

Sounddiver works directly in the edit buffers of the Virus. As soon as you close the editor window it asks you to save the patch and offers you to select a location. If this does not appear, you might take a look in your global settings:

Options->Settings->Safety Messages

and check "closing changed Edit Windows".

Storing a patch means it is also stored into the patch memory of the virus.
