Tablet - Touch screen laptops
 

Im contemplating buying a tablet laptop that has touch screen capabilities.

Has anyone used touch screens for music making? any good? waste of time?

Also has anyone heard about the Centrino processors? They are designed for wireless networking but are they suitable for audio?

Tablet PC's are a waste of time.

Centrino PC's are just laptops that use intel chipsets, intel wireless and intel something else. When the laptops have all three things, they have the authority from Intel to put the word `Centrino` on their product.

They are just like any other laptop, however, with a few extra goodies.

Incidentally, the Pentium M line of processors are pretty damn powerful, just overlook the megahert rating.
