Flanging?

Anyone know a technique to create a flanging effect on the virus c? I've experimented with the chorus and delay effects without success.

That's right, Sherlock.

Chorus and flanger are almost identical effects. Falnger is just more extreme version of chorus. Just set lots of delay, modulation and positive feedback.

actually the way i get flange is about 30% feedback, delay of about 25-50, and a rate of around 16...this should get you a classic flange sound...
BTW this is with chorus...

Thanks

Thanks all for the feedback. Blank--your settings work great. What's even cooler is if you set the rate to zero you can actually control the flange phasing by modulating the delay manually or by some mod source other than a sine lfo. Good stuff.

no problem,

yeah i noticed that too...you can do that with the phaser as well by setting to zero and modulating the freq of the phaser or by setting it to a soft knob...glad it worked...
