Mini-virus!
Cross posted from the mailing list ;)
Ho ho, Over this morning I made a stand for my Virus C to prop it up. Using locally available pine wood for the grand sum of $5US and a few hours of work, I think it looks quite good: I was thinking of making it larger to give it the MS-20 look, but I'm pleased with it so far. There's felt on the arches and feet to product my beloved, and even little tiny rubbery feet. The only question now is, do I paint it black, or stain it a classic-synth-wood? :) ________ Toyota Kd Engine History |

As I just got my VC back from being repaired yesterday (actually they just gave me a new one), I'm in the process of making a rack to stand mine in at the moment.
Mine looks a little different to that one though. I've modified an old chair! 8O I'll post some pics in the 'What does your studio look like?' thread when it's finished and all set up. By the way, I say paint it black! |
Nice stand...looks good. What about STAINING it black? Black stained (vs. painted) guitars always look cool as hell....

I made it strong enough to stand a keyboard synth too. It fits perfectly between my controller and PC screens. I'll post some pics if I get round to it tomorrow (in the 'What does your studio look like?' thread). Quote:
