Static acid sound, help please

I am totaly stuck. I have been trying to come up with a almost smooth static sound with zero attack for fast acid movement type use.

I am getting no where near it, in trying to lose the tone from my sound it just turns to mud. Please keep in mind that my synthesys skills are not very sharp yet.

The best example of what I am shooting for is the quick moving background staticky acid sound throught this clip.

Any help or advice would be greatly apprecieted. Thanks! :?

Isn't that just a noise oscillator, with the filter cutoff linked to pitch?

No. White noise -> 36dB BP (medium resonance) -> Modwheel to cutoff.
