NI Battery / Cubase SL Plugins question
Hi,
I use NI Battery as a VSTi in Cubase SL. My question is does anyone know how to run a Directx plugin through an individual cell. I want to have say a compressor on the kickdrum, reverb on the clap e.t.c. I been messing aroung with the different MIDI channels but with no luck. The Battery manual is a bit vague also. At the moment I run the plugins, but they affect all the instruments. Cheers |
it only has 4 outputs to route your battery channels to i think

Personally I would set the clap to go out on channels 3+4, then route the output to a group channel with reverb on as an insert.
Is that what you mean? |
I know how to change the channel settings in Battery, but what I mean is, how do you split your Directx effects into different channels. I'm currently using the 4 Master effects slots. How do you tell the Directx plugin what channel it should be affecting?

just look at your mixer you have couple of different channels
