Organising Sound banks

Hi Guys,

I am having some trouble organising my sounds that i want on my virus.

For example i purchased Manuels soundset with i loaded into bank A if i wanna load another bank into B but then replace some in it whats the best way??

Im just finding it hard to keep the sounds in my virus that i like.

I wonder if anyone out there can give me any organising tips.

Cheers :)

I Have trouble with sound diver (sometimes),
so when i load a bank into say bank A i store for example all the best sounds from bank G into say bank B.
Then Store flash to rom bank A to bank G if ya no what i mean. So then you can upload more banks.

Pawel,

Try using Soundiver libraries, the patches come in this format within most zip file downloads for the patches.

Go to "Open Library" in Soundiver and open the patch library you want. (I've got all my patches in .lib format in a folder on my desktop).

You now have all the patches listed. Click on each patch and their attributes appear on the left of the screen. Double click on the location and type in the patch location you want it to be in, then right click and choose transmit to send to your Virus.

I can't get SD to work so i gave up :(

I do use www.borgstation.com though.
As just a librarian it's simple and works well enough.
Not as flexible as SD, but OK for freeware.

I also had some trouble with sounddiver (midi connection loss) so I started using midiquest. Its totally stable, but the virusC in the program is outdated (only A-D banks, no new arps, etc...). Does anybody know where to get the new virusC file? Their webpage has it, but it doesnt allow to dl it anymore.

I think I may try borgstation.
