FX weirdness
Problem -
I have a Desktop Virus C. Say I'm using a saved Multi, with (for example) patches in slots 1 and 2. I want to add another patch into slot 3. I go into Multi Edit, make the appropriate adjustments and start scrolling through patches to make a choice. I suddenly notice the FX type/parameter settings have changed for the whole Multi. This seems to happen almost every time I do this. Is this a bug? anyone else experience this? ...or am I missing something? help appreciated |

does this happen with MIDI cables not connected? marc |
I don't know.
Why do you ask? I'm not sending any midi into the Virus apart from note data from a controller keyboard. |
you can not have delay on one patch and reverb on one patch when in multi...if you change one in the multi mode they all change...so in other words you are either using the same reverb for all the patches in the multi mode or the same delay for all patches in multi mode...

I'm not deliberately changing the FX settings myself though. They're changing by themselves when I'm in Multi Edit and I'm scrolling through patches. |

a) manually b) importing from a single c) some weird midi loop problem d) using sounds which do alter the global FX settings (delay/reverb( using the mod matrix). some of the sounds ending with JS do i cannot really see why this would happen otherwise and after checking back with access support, the have been no incidences reported on that topic so far, so i assume it's not a bug since it's so obvious which parameters do change? best, marc |
