midi/sound card/pc problems
 

Hi, I am having some sound diver problems in that that the midi transfer of patches are failing. I can get them to start but never complete as it fails and I get midi error messages etc.

I am using a sound blaster platinum ex 2 sound card in a standard pc with standard midi cables and obviously a virus c.

Does anyone else encounter problems like this where there is connectivity yet fails on transfer. Incidently I have reloaded the pc OS (XP) and the sound diver program and tried various midi configurations as I have a midiman oxygen 8 connected too.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I don't use sounddiver, so I can't really help you out too much.

One thing I can say though is, try doing a search on this board. You will find many people who have had similar trouble with sounddiver. :) Maybe one of those threads can help you.
