Note Off ? Problem in multi mode from triton
 

Hi all. Can anyone shed any light on this sequencing problem i`m experiencing?

When sequencing from my triton with the Virus Classic in MULTI mode everything seems to work fine with the odd exception. This being that if i press stop and locate (rewind) on the triton then once i hit play again from the start of the track, one or two specific virus channels do not play unless i change patch and then back to the original patch. It only seems to happen with certain patches. Seems like a note off issue perhaps but i cant understand why it does it on some channels but not all. Its not a polyphony issue either so i`m at a loss now...
Hope someone can help and i apologize if this has already been covered.

The triton sends some controller resets when you press stop/play. These bring the virus to cease the sound. Standard controllers MFX1 send and MFX2 (somewhere around CC93-95) cause conflicts with the Triton sequencer. Check if you can disable these controllers in the Triton.

Another solution can be to set the Virus to receive only Sysex-Controller instead of CCs or to set the appropriate controllers in your song at starttime.
