Is this true about latency on powercore?

I read that the Powercore is set at a fixed latency of 1024 samples. Is this true? I use CubaseSX2 which ahs delay compensation will this affect the PC virus when playing?

rubbish...

the latency of the powercore depends on the blocksize your host gives you, which depends on the AUDIO setting. lowering the buffer size will result in less latency on the powercore for the cost of higher cpu load.

the plugins do (nearly) all provide latency compensation. so in playback everything will be fine enough.

I use 512 samples buffer with powercore in logic7 & G5. Works just fine and I can play the virus in "realtime". The latency doesn't bother me much because the plugin is already very playable with that buffer. Also the sound of the virus plugin is huge when combined with poco reverbs. :)
