virus b patch banks
 

i have an OS update that specifies that there are 1024 patches and ive heard people here talk about banks A to H. on my virus b desktop i only have banks A to D. each with a capacity of 128 patches. so ive only got 512 patches it seems. is this normal? i thought there were user banks, as currently i have to overwrite all of the patches in an existing bank if i choose to download user make banks? thanks in advance.

Im not absolutely certain about B Virus, cos I have a C, but sounds like you need to download and update to the 1024 patches....

This will give you banks A-H as people have mentioned, unless of course the B is not capable of storing that much??? Im not sure...

And you should have 2 user banks....so if you want to download another bank, you will have to overwrite one of these. You can always dump your user bank to a sequencer so you can reload it if you want at a later date

thanks! yes there was an update that opened up another 4 banks on the virus b. i completely didnt expect that. alot of these OS updates seem to do quite alot considering they are free :D ta for your help
