Rising filter sweep?

Hi all,

I tried the search but could not find what I was looking for (or I did not try hard enough  )

Yes, it's the old favourite chesnut : How do I do a filter sweep, which rises in pitch over 8 bars. Do I use a filter or pitch wheel :?. Yes, it's the kind you hear on nearly all trance tracks to give that build feeling.

I am using Cubase by the way.

I think what you are looking for is your 'cutoff' knob, and play with the resonance too...

Assign lfo(slow rate) to transpose and cutoff..or do manually with the individual pots.

yeah use LFO1 to control osc1+2 (which means their picth) and the resonance, and set its trigger phase to 1 or whatever you wantn but don't leave it Off.
