download virus patches (i tried search but found little)
 

hi fellas and happy weekend :)

quick question. any idea if there are other places than the access site to download patches for the virus?

I dont quite understand......the patches are available on the Access site. From the homepage goto 'where do you want to go?' and select 'Downloads for:' then select which model of the Virus you have. Scroll down the page a bit and you'll come across the title 'Additional Sounds And Patches'. Ok.

Have you already done this? Or were you unable to find this page?

i don't know if these are different from what's on the access site.

Ok, here you go:

...knock yourself out. Note that their webserver is sneaky and will determine (if you click on the link in this message) that your referrer was somewhere other than www.access-music.de and will redirect you to their home page.

The solution is to:

(a) Open a new web browser window
(b) Paste the above link into the "Address" line
(c) Click on "Go" / hit return

Indeed, but no, I don't really know any other places to grab sounds. The Access site does have alot though.

my goofy 'newborn' baby pic disappeared - oh well, i guess we all have to grow up sometime.

also, i just noticed there are some patches in the 'sound designing' section of this forum.

yep i meant other than access site. i tried look around in earlier posts, but didnt find much. but as you fellas say, the access site has a LOAD :)

i downloaded all of those patches but ive only skimmed through 2 of them. its much better to program your own i think, or as im doing, learning to program. still have to get my brain around this little black and crimson box on my table...
