Lasgo sounds
 

It would be interesting if someone could create some lasgo sounds on the virus, lasgo are a belgium trance group (if you dident know) and they sound quite unique. I was told that the synth lead on the track "alone" was a jp-8000 layered with a nord 2x. Is any of their sounds possible on the virus?, (apart from the one used in alone obviously) DIGITAL-SCREAMS seems to think so and I do also, but whats everyone else's view?

typical over detuned jp supersaw sound
creating supersaws on the virus were widly discused,
just do a search and you'l find them.

ah then thats easy. My friend created a sound on the virus which to me (sounded exactly like) the jp-supersaw, All I know was he was using alot of heavy programming and told me it can be done, even though (there has been alot of effort without results). Regards to the nord 2x, I don't own one so I couldent recreate the sound exactly. Thats for detuned saws though, well I think the virus can do these easily. Let me try and get the settings he used, I'll post them on here. Thats for every synth being different, well yeah. I mean, the virus can do things which probably other non virus owners would wish to reproduce. IMHO the virus is a killer machine for trance. I just like seeing what other guys come up with :). Lasgo use this other sound in their tracks which I know isen't the jp, maybe you haven't heard it?

its like there are many non virus users who hear tho virus hp/bp "electricity noise" leads like in above and beyond stuff and wish to recreat them
every synth has its benifits and different charecter...

I would like to see those settings...because i have my own!! :wink:
