where is expert mode?

I was reading the manual of the VC (pag 122). It mentions the expert mode, but I cant find it in my virus. I press the 'system / multi edit' but its not there.

Where is it?

thanks

another question: when I put 'Data' as mod source, where is this data coming from? is it random?

I think data is when you modulate from external devices, not sure.

i should be a bit more specific.
when i got my C, the manual had never been updated from the B.
if you try to follow the manual sitting with the keyboard, the menu orders don't follow the manual, so you are constantly searching for what should come next, but not's there.
some functions it says are there, are just plain missing.
lots of details about the third lfo mod options and all of the leds is missing.
there are many nicely detailed references without specifics about where to find them - not nice.
the manual will occasionally break out into german, when you're trying to read in english.
some areas are covered pretty thoroughly while others are neglected.
overall, i found it easier to just use the synth and try to memorize the menus than i did to try and use the manual.
i understand that it was updated after i got it, so hopefully it is easier to use now.

lol wildbill, I think I have the same manual. I'll dl a new one.

hmmm i don't think so, for eg, in the manual i have they don't explain well how to use the third osc and how to select its waveform! check it and you will see unless they updated it.
