A virus supersaw close to a jp?
Hi, I have finally had time to post my version of my virus supersaw (jp emulation), this version is modified. Let me know what you think, check it out.
http://gmproductions.ath.cx/virussupersaw.mp3 also check out a clip of morpheda (a small trance project) http://gmproductions.ath.cx/morpheda.mp3 all of which was programmed on a virus classic (desktop version)[/url] |
being the former owner fo an 8080, I hate to break it to you m8, but it doesn't come close in terms of fatness and resonance. Dont get me wrong, it is a good attempt and a nice trance lead, but doesnt match the JP supersaw. It seems to be missing the mid range.

just bounce to audio in you sequencer and EQ the mids up a little. Or you could layer it with the same sound, just eq themj differently, and that will defenitely get you in the ballpark.

The feedback OSC adds overtones to the sound. Best way to know what it does though is get someone to post you a sample of the thing. I looked for a written explanation a while back and couldn't find any detailed explanation.
Sorry to butt into your thread though Garym. |
^^^^ Hollowcell explained it about as best as I could. It is one of those things where you can hear it, but no really explain it.
