listen to this shit

I encountered some problems while using Soundiver, the problem was communication between my KC and my sound card (audiophile 2496). I contacted Access support and this is what they tell me:Hello todd buchanan,

Thank you for your mail. I'm very soorry to say, but there are some Midi interfaces that won't work
with Sounddiver very well under Windows XP including all M-Audio interfaces. Background:
SoundDiver is a program developed by Emagic (now Apple) and they stopped Windows support
before XP was released, so there's not much we can do about it.

Sucks does'nt it, ya know I never came across this type of problem while I was researching Access, now I've got one and this is what i find out. I think I've figured a way around this already, but I'm open to anyone's suggestions. thanks. :?:

I've got an M-Audio 8x8 midisport and the bundled Soundiver works fine except that it doesn't remember what it did last time it was opened and has to rescan the virus before I can use it. Minor delay, then everything works sweet as. I don't load new patch sets in that often so its no big deal to me.
