multi single multi normal multi rubbish!
agggggggggggggg!
iv had it with my virus. im a beginner ok, im tryina use multi or multi single mode but its just SO confusing. How do you disable the 15 parts of a multi sound so u can just use one?! as in, when i choose a multi patch to start with its made of like 16 other single patches. How can i just de activate them!? and then where should i save the stuff i like? (seeing as a-h all contain sounds from the 1024 update) thank you kindly |
WHy not use it in single mode if you re only after 1 sound in particular?
|
because say i wanna use five different instruments in a song in cubase virus will only let me use one in single mode.
eg track1 i use mini moog then track2,3 (all the way to 16) will only ever be that same noise on track1! thanks for ur quick replies |
look up multi/single mode in the manual. i think that is what you are looking for.

thanks
yeah iv read it many times but to use it you have to disable all the other parts in the sound all the patches are made up of different patches. I just want to hear one on its own so i need to find a way to disable the other patches. sorry dunno if im making sense |

Ok man...dont panic. Some one here will probably clarify this for you....but if your still having trouble....post an email to the virus mailing list: access-list@ampfea.org
remember to type in a subject line so that users on the mailing list will identify your problem. Hope this helps. DS |
Have you tried the search function. There are numerous threads on the subject in these forums.Check in the introduction forum with the subject called "you can call me bitch"
Search for multi mode and I guarantee you will find what you are looking for. Have you tried access tech support. They are responsive also. |
I dont understand all the bruhaha about multi mode......
Set up your 16 MIDI channels in your sequencer, with each MIDI channel coresponding to a part in your multi. From your sequencer you should be able to choose which patch you want (if you have your patch scripts) Initialize a multi patch, and start making your own multi. Why do you need to deactivate the other parts????? You seem to be doing something very wrong here......Im sure it will be simple to solve, but just dont panic. Good luck! :) |
by the by.....each part in your multi should also correspond to MIDI channels 1-16
