OT: Where does the site go every night?
 

I've noticed that around 9:00pm in the US, this forum/site dissappears everynight. What's up?

Its been like that for years, its about 03:00-04:15 GMT here when it goes down. I believe its the service providers routine downtime for some kind of scheduled maintainance, but what that actually involves I have no idea.

I thought it was just me. Not like the board is to active at the time it usually goes down but kind of shitty when you have a good post to make, usually I forget them by the time it comes back.

For me it's 12 midday. Just one of the things we put up with I guess.

In sweden it goes down at around 04-05 in the morning. I guess it's a way of saving cash or something like that.

This blackout period is probably when Juho is using the board for some devious misgivings.

Could this involve...midgets? 8O

Nope. I get the black out from 5:00AM to 6:00AM.
