Virus' and MIDI clocks???
If there is a sequence that I've programmed into the 32 step arpeggiator, how does Access handle MIDI clock?
Unfortunately, most synths, if you hit the first note slightly behind the beat, each note of the entire arp is slightly behind the beat. Now, I'm aware that some synths and synth plugins, are listening to the song pointer too. ie... If I hit the first note late, it will basically skip that note and hit the next note of the arp perfectly on time. That way, the remaining time you hold down the notes, they're perfectly in time. This question is about live performances where the TI would be listening to the MIDI clock from my Powerbook running Ableton Live. In the studio, I'm aware that I could simply quantize the track to fix this. |
Well in my TI I just go into settings and press.....

Ben, you've had your hands on the TI, any input? Does it sinc to time, or simply to a clock?
