a bit disappointing imo. i was expecting more. god knows there are enough organ/piano emu's out there allready.

Yep, that is a little disapointing for sure. Let's hope it has some special features in the implementation. Seems like alot of hype for something in this sort of musical area.....

The Roland midi Acordion is looking sweeter by the day!

Ho hum. :|

At least Access wont be too worried, then.

lol yeah looks like the only thing the TI has to beat is the alesis workstation and that it can do with no problem.

Juho L 06.04.2005 03:20 PM

This is not dissapointing. This is excellent!

I love it!

Juho, do you have an inside contact in Clavia's R&D department?

Come on, you monkied them onto this idea didn't you?

haha! Not a trance beast at all. Clavia seems to build synths for jazz musicians. In fact I wasn't even expecting anything too massive from clavia. When I saw the covered keyboard I thought it will be another organ or something because it was so long. NL2 & NL3 are still the trance synths from clavia. A NL4 would have been great...

I think the pipe legs ala Rhodes was a clearer clue.

It's great that Clavia makes keyboards aimed for players and performers.

And what is a trance synth? A supersaw rack synth that has an arpeggiator going through Am-G-F-G by a press of a button?

F5D 06.04.2005 09:31 PM

A trance synth is a synth which is used alot in trance music.
