Trigger Finger

I just purchased one of these on an impulse. I am sick of doing drums on the keyboard or edit window. I will update you guys to let you know what I think. In the meantime check this vid out.

So far. . .. . . . .

- Typical m-audio
- Cheap knobs, but useable
- Plastic casing
- Pads feel great. Velocity sensitivity is not to sensititive for my heavy hands.
- Faders are cheap, but useable.
- Latency is fine for me. I cant hear a difference.

Thats it for now. i just took teh thing out of the box.

How does this compare with an MPD-16?

Is this better than drumming with a keyboard in your opinion?

BTW I just watched "Napolean Dynamiteand it was AWESOME!!!

Never used an MPD, but I got the trigger finger for the knobs too.

I love it! Alot better than drumming with a keyboard.

I would just like to clarify that it is velocity sensitive. What I meant was that you have to pound a little on the pads to get max volume. That is the way i like it.

I thought the knobs were cool too.

That's great it needs to be pounded for max volume as if a device like that is too sensitive you have to baby it. It's a drum pad; it needs to be beat on!!! :D
