Live 5!!!
 

This was announced a bit ago, but the beta demo for registered users just came out and I must say I am impressed. Midi editing is somewhat easier, the new plugs and track freeze are great. Got a little bit of a facelift too. Great app, and I could see myself leaving logic for it if I had all the mixing and mastering plugs like Logic, but until then, I guess it is rewire time!!

What's in live that you can't do in Logic? :)

Nothing really! I just am able to throw out ideas quicker in live for some reason. With logic, the options are endless, but live is just a straight forward sequencer. What you see is what you get. Personally, I work better like that. if I have to many options, i get to mangling sounds for days on end and dont complete anything. I c what y r saying though.

Yes the audition speed of adding loops n drum loops to your project has always been why I use live, ala rewired inside Nuendo / Cubase
