programs not being recalled right in virus powercore
 

Well that about says it all. But to be totaly clear this is what is happening.

I am working with the powercore virus on a pc and sometimes when I save a song, close and reopen it later to work on it the preset in the virus comes up wrong. VERY anoying. It was the same on my mac as well.

The other odd thing is that when I try to scroll through a bank of sounds that are in a catergory eg. arp, leed, bass. I just jump through the sounds in what seems to be total random order of all catergories. Also very anoying.

I have put use to MANY soft synts from free to very expencive over the last ten years and this type of stuff is just not ok with me. Why do I have free VST's that are more solid than virus that cost me 600 CAN after tax! I am dissapointed.

I bought the virus powercore fully intending to make it the heart of my sound canvis. And now I worry each time close one of my projects as hours of my work may be lost. I would like to think that people are working on this but hey who am I kidding. The TI is where Access is putter there energy right now not on there little poercore project. I hope I am wrong and I look forward to the day that I can download the patch for these problems. Till then I will lean towards my other synths.

I am posting this for two reasons. One being that I am hoping that there is an answer to this problem out there. And the second being that I went into this after doing a what I feel to be a reasonable amount of reading and it seemd to be that there where some buggs but they had been taken care of. But as I look harder I am finding that there are a number of people frustrated with this product. I would have looked harder but I have only heard good things about the Virus so I was not to worried. A silly mistake. This is intended to inform anyone looking into the product about the problem.

Actually this seems unlikely, but you may open a support ticket and provide a demo project with it.

And can you specify what you mean by "the preset in the virus comes up wrong"? Do you mean the sounds are changed or the edit buffers are changed?

This is a confirmed bug that is solved.

You might give the v1.1 a try.
