What does SE mean when uploading a file.

I have a virus classic rack and tried to upload the manuel schleis sounds and a little SE ops up in the LCD screen , but nothing is uploaded.

Any Ideas

I have read the manuels and it says nothing about the SE

SysEx, or AKA system exclusive data.

If you wait until the SE has gone you will find it has uploaded. Be patient.

Cheers,

Could you tell me if The Virus classic Rack is able to use Presets from other viruses.

Cheers Man

of course,it will lack the virus C features settings like distortion,eq and moog resonant filters but it will load and will sound about the same. :)

Some patches made on the C will sound exactly the same on a Classic and some will sound different. Besides from what Tomer mentioned there is less mod-assigns in the classic than in the C so sometimes you will be missing some internal routings as well...
