Using the virus as a midi controler (tweaking softies)

Ss it possible?
I dived again into the manual and i wasnt able to find this.
Is it possible to use my virus Rack's 5 knobs and assign them to different parameters on soft synths and sequencer etc'.

If so,how do i do it?

Btw,sequencer: Cubase Sx 3.01

Don?t know about the rack but in the other Virus?s the knobs are fixed to a curtain controller (except the softknobs)...

midi learn in cubase should work fine I believe.

midi learn is fine for most modern VSTi`s. the cubase input transformer is somtimes needed for synths with fixed controller assignments and a finer control.

best,
midi.
