Well Here goes ..
Got my TI Desktop wednesday morning
I already own my much loved virus xl fully loaded with vengeance vol 2 and 3............
Too me the Ti does not sound any different to the virus xl
I produce and remix uplifting vocal trance in the voodoo and serano kind of style for which my virus xl cuts the business
i guess i was expecting too much from the ti in comparison to the xl but the extra polyphony and programmable arp will help
I have yet to work the multi mode as this is the only problem i have with the xl ...polyphony is eaten up with a lush pad and sawlead sound set
I think by march next year the price tag will dropped to around 949 for the desktop but hey they are the best ..so what the hell

I think it?s meant to sound like any other Virus but the wavetable and supersaw (and all the other added features) should expand your posibilities :D

Yeah, what he said. Any presets from previous versions of the virus should sound exactly the same on the TI. I'd be extremely surprised if they didn't.

Try tweking your patches, changing the oscillator types to the hypersaw or wavetables and you'll pretty quickly see considerable difference in the sounds the TI can make compared to previous versions.
