C Patches in the TI ???
Hi All,
maybe one of the lucky new TI owners can answer me one question? 8) I would like to know if it's possible to load soudpatches from the 'C' into the TI? If yes, are they sound the same or do you have to tweek them? Thank's Chris |
Well I'm not a TI ower yet, waiting for the dust to settle and to get the money ready.
I have wondered this in the past, and the answer seems to be yes. A virus C patch should sound exactly the same, because the TI is effectively a C with more added. I have my old C banks ready to load up and I'm expecting them to sound the same. |
I don?t see why it should be any diffenrent from the older Virus models. You can always load patches from older models to newer models and they will sound excactly the same. On the other hand if you load patches from newer models to older models they will not always sound the same. Here it depends if there are features used in the newer model that the older does not have (like loading wavetable patches from a TI to a C)...

All the C patches I have tried so far load fine in the desktop Ti.

Desktop TI
I loaded all my custom patches last night and tested the Virus C analog vs the USB\VST Desktop TI and i couldnt hear any difference. That really amazed me because i was skeptical and thought i would certainly be using the anolog outs of the TI. My ears are pretty good when it comes to suttle differences so i can fully say i am 100 percent on the digital wagon.
I guess what it all boilded down to was the algorithims and great programming from the boys and girls in Germany. Great Job and thanks for making our lives simpler! |
