303 'accent'....this means accentuate?

Just wondering....

So the 303 allowed you to accentuate certain notes of a sequence? Was this implemented in some kinda basic velocity way?

Can you do that with the virus?
Get those slide and accent sounds with the virus?

You can use the mod matrix & assign velocity into Volume and filter envelope which is accualy what happends when the TBs Accent is trigered,
I would say the volume picks at 30% and the filter evelope by 40%.
try expirimenting....

try using the moog style multimode filter in 3 pole\18 db LP filter configuration.

The TB303 does not use velocity, just note on and of! sry

I don?t think the Virus can emulate the TB303 perfectly in all ways.
The 303 is computer controlled analogue, where as the virus is not.

As for slide just setup the Virus as a mono 1 note polyphony sound, then in cubase to get the slide, the note you want to slide lengthen it so it overlaps the next note you want to slide to!
