Virus control plugin success with Cubase SX3.1.1 !!!

i just recorded 16 midi parts in cubase sx3 with virus control with the TI as a vst instrument with USB all 16 parts with different ARP settings (extreme settings) at the same time 100% perfect timing on all 16 parts congrats to steinberg and access in gettings this right....WHAT A GREAT ACHIEVEMENT IMO here are my system specs: P4 ? CPU 3,20Ghz; Genuine Intel Intel D865PERL Motherboard 80 Gb Maxtor ATA133 Boot Drive 250 Gb Maxtor ATA 133 Archive Drive 2 x 200Gb Seagate SATA Drives in RAID0 Configuration 4 Gb Corsair ? DDR400 Extreme RAM XP Pro + Sp2 RME Pro 96/8 Pro 2.11 + RME WCM & 3 X UAD-1 Sequencers: Cubase SX 3.1.1 Apogee Big Ben 2 x ESI Miditerminal M8U I AM A VERY VERY HAPPY SX3 and TI Customer !!!!! |
That is some great news.
I'm installing the 3.1.1 update for Cubase SX now... Hopefully my timing will improve. Do you have any additional info/tips so that other users can try to reproduce and confirm? Or maybe even post up a test project? I don't know, just suggestions. Have to reboot...BRB |
Actually still having some serious sync issues :(
After a bit of tweaking(went back to my EMU drivers but still using USB for audio) I got the timing somewhat usable. It just seems to go out of sync when changing patches and under a lot of stress. |
so 3.1.1 makes no difference...
same issues. didnt think it would be steinborgs problem. |
