Lfo bpm sync not w normal midi cable?

I get LFO tracking bpm quite well with USB / Virus Control in SEQ MODE, yet it's drifts freely with normal midi cable and usb unplugged, midi clock is being sent etc.

Anyone else get this?

[edit] I get drifting bpm lfo also in USB mode now...

1.05
I only noticed it at 1.05 because I set a LFO to duck the patch volume on the beat. I didn't need it before so I can't comment.

I can try an replicate it outside the context of my current project / song, it may be a cpu load issue. 65% cpu Athlon 64 3400

It seems to be in time from when you first press play but 35 to 50 bars in it's on opposite beat. I even watch the LFO led slowly phase out of beat till it's pulsing on off beats not on beats.
