Turning off Midi clock sync for just one part
for some reason I packed my manual away somewhere (moving across the us in a couple of weeks) so I need to ask you guys this question. For a certain song, I have the song base in cubase running at 80 bpm, but would like to have an arp for the first TI part to run at it's native 120bpm, and then have the other couple of TI parts run synced at 80 bpm. Just curious as to how I would keep the first part from syncing with cubases 80 bpm midi clock.

I gues 80 is 2 thirds of 120, you could keep it in sync and experiment with the clock divider for that one part 'edit arp - resolution' change from 1/16 to 3/32. That's just a guess. [edit] 1/24 is probably closer

You can't disable midi clock for one part - the only solution is maths, as grs suggests ;)

yeah, I kind of figured that was the case. Thanks grs and ben.
