Does anybody get stable syncable arps using SX\Nuendo?

Well, after almost a year of anticipation I finally received my Ti keyboard!!! though I had some concerns after reading several horror stories, installing and updating the Ti streamlined completely problem free, and I`m very very impressed with the design and sound quality and of this machine. all kodus to access for that!!! 8)

One big problem though: I cant get the arps to play or export without drifting slightly ahead (in a non constant manner, every export can yield different results).

using Nuendo 3.2.0.1128 (latest build) and these system specs:

Dual Xeon 3.4
Asus NCCH-DL MOBO
2GB corssair ram
RME HDSP9652
2xUAD 1
MidiSport 4X4
Mackie MCU.

has anybody managed to sort this out? and if so, how?!

any small tip would be greatly appriciated!... 8)

Best,
midi.

i know it has been stated that it must be something on steinbugs end...
not so sure i agree with that though. :?

Well I don`t think so either. especially when there are tones of different plugins out there witch incorporates arps and step sequencers that seem to syncs perfectly with the steinberg sequencers.

so all of your audio is being sent over the usb cable? You're not using the external analog outs?

Both USB and analog audio are drifting slightly when using VC. triggering the Ti with plain old MIDI has some latency offset (thats expected), but its a fixed one (13 ms).

Using a 3.2GHz PC with WinXP+SP2, SX 3.1.1 and TI bits 106r2, I seem to getting very stable arps today (might be down to the phase of the moon or something... :)).

Actually I have a whole stack of parts outgoing via midi as I write - 2 drum tracks with a motif es, an arp running on a v-synth and an arp running on the TI (in Virus Control with its USB audio return) a bunch of audio parts I recorded earlier, reason 304 loaded and playing some parts and the resulting mix going to my 01x which is also dealing with the audio coming back from the other synths.

For once the whole lot seems to be in perfect sync at 140 bpm and no glitches either with quite alot of audio and midi parts going in and out :)

I am now in the habit of rebooting my PC before I run my audio applications - seems to hugely improve stablity and accuracy. Maybe worth doing the same if you have an apple as well.

I loaded up an arp in cubase sx 3.1 - 8 bar loop - 120 pbm. Synced for about a minute or two and then started to drift. Had to reboot TI to get it to sync again and then it drifted again.

Hmmm...single notes parts play tight and exports seems fine. unfortunately, the arps in USB mode are unusable for me right now... :(

the drift is not terrible with internal sync mode, but still enough to keep me away from the arps.

so.... is this considered an official bug or is access throwing this on steinberg \ user config issues?

Best,
midi.
