Something like this http://hjem.get2net.dk/revolution/trancelead.mp3 :?: I made it on my Virus C. I can post the patch if you like. It should work fine on a B i think...

8O wow that sounds just like it!

It would be great if you posted the patch :D
but i'd be happy even if you just gave me a rough guide on how to program that kind of sound.

by the way. i like how you copied the riff too, im still learning to that myself :)

Here it is: http://hjem.get2net.dk/revolution/TarnzzZ_JM.mid

Here?s the aproach:
2 saw-waves with heavy detune (detune: 81)
FM amount at 64
A low-pass (3 pole analog) and a band-stop filter in serial mode
Cutoff: 67, Cutoff 2: +31, CutoffLink: on
Filter keyfollow: +32
Oscilator vol/saturation at +63
Distortion type: digital, intensity: 60

Try playing with the envelopes and the reverb...

The riff is easy to copy. Just use your ears and try parting the notes. It?s just a question of training.

Awsome thanks! :D

I'll save that patch but also try to create the sound from your guide. that way i'll learn better.

I guess copying riffs is just down to training like you say, i will keep trying. It can be very frustating at times when i cant get it right.

Thanks again for your help
