Best reverb plug-in for Vocals ????

Can anyone please tell us the best Reverb VST Plug-in (Even the patch name if possible) for Vocals (Especially Vocal Trance)Maybe a Powercore Plug-in as we own a powercore??or something else???

why not expiriment?

the powercore reverbs are rather good.
usualy for vocals i would use something like a short plate reverb.

The Plate 140 reverb from UAD is superb, or try a demo of the Princeton Plate reverb - also good

I second Tomer in that Plate reverbs are the way to go for vocals

VSS3 and DVR2 for powercore are both amazing plugins and very good for vocals, the former being a source reverb and the latter a plate emulation.

VSS3 has a fair amount more controls and configurablity and is good for a wide range of sounds and situations. The DVR2 has less controls and is possibly more suited for pads, strings, vocals. Both sound amazingly good though (and similar), its worth downloading the demos and experimenting with them.

I purchased the VSS3 myself as I preferred the extensive range of extra controls it has which can make for some great effects.

On a side note buy all powercore plugs from www.jrrshop.com for USA prices, choose email shipping so you dont pay any postage and enter the coupon code 'forum' at the checkout for a 10% discount on all purchases :)

oh please, there is only one correct answer to this thread.

SIR 1.008

the best reverb plugin. full stop.

why?

1) its a convolution reverb VST plugin and its 100% free.

2) there are impulses recorded for it from famous (and expensive) outboard gear like the lexicon PCM91 as well as various selections of of plate reverbs and impulses recorded from real spaces.

3) all of those impulses? they are free too. go check out www.noisevault.com

4) SIR can import any wav in order to use some of its properties. it is more than just a reverb plugin.

yeah impulse reverb units should also be a great idea.

about expirimenting,i meant with different reverb algorithems and settings.
