choosing patches from sound catorgories on virus control?
 

Is there any way that you can select patches from catorgories (acid,pads,bass etc), instead of just selecting random patches from banks?. If not , can we plz have this as a feature in an update and a next button so we can flick on to the next patch pretty quicky, istead of drag and dropping or double clicking(that requires afew clicks sometimes) patches?.

i dont think its been implemented yet...but i think its planned (i hope it is).

in the meantime you can use the virus itself to search via category :) works pretty well, check the manual on how to do it, i cant remember off the top of my head.

very cool. and like solconnetion said you can do this from the virus itself (which works really well).

in virus control you can use your arrow keys to select patches in a bank. = 1 key, not two mouse clicks. That's in Cubase, other hosts like Chainer don't allow this.

one thing that woud be great is if they implemented the ability to use the mouse scroll wheel to scroll down through the patches in virus control.
