OS update... what's the difference?

I updated my TI from OS 1.0.5 to 1.0.8 yesterday, but I can't really notice any difference in timing/stability.
Is there a way to tweak the TI from the Virus Control plug-in while using the MIDI-ports instead of USB?

aaah, I'm having the tinnitus as well, since silvester :oops:
