shalom y'all

Thank you for reading my post.

After many years of using REASON (virus powercore recently), and prior to that, sampled tone modules ala emu extreme lead, mc505, jv1080.....I have finnaly seen the light and about to purchase my first real analog modeling synth.....

Can any T1 users share any feedback if the new models are "sound wise" that much superior to the older models.....I already use an 828, so I have ins/outs covered.

I like the idea of the t1 being able to be a sample accurate hardware/software controller. I understand the "spec" differences between the new/old models, but from an "artists/musician's" point of view, would a virus classic be just as feesable.......

Any classic/powercore users with feedback?

Thank you

And some trax to share as well.......

Well, apart from the TI aspect of the new model there is also the addition of reverb/delay per part as opposed to global reverb/delay in previous models, the hypersaw and the wavetable synthesis are also completely new which open up a massive extra range of possibilities in sound designing. the TI also has internal EQ which the C had as well but the Classic and Poco don't have.

The classic is still a very good synth but you do get quite a bit extra with the TI.

Oh, and welcome to the forum :)

Welcome!

If you dont need the "Total Integration" bit, I would save some cash and get a new/used Virus KC. The C series is still an amazing synth, and it works.

Agreed! depends on the updates access has in store also. Do you want access to those as well (new filters, etc . . . .)??

Thank you all for the welcome as well as your valuable advice/feedback.
I think I am leaning toward the T1 keyboard. Hopefully in about 3 weeks I'll have some glory stories about how great it sounds......
