importing the Arp42.mid file
What must I do for importing the Arp42.mid file into the VirusControl VSTi, too short description in the readme.pdf :(

No, its a fair question. These are arp patterns not patches.

They are patches aren't they? - 42 of them, with different user arp patterns programmed in. User arp patterns are stored within a patch (one per patch). So, Girl Next Door is correct - you just import the soundset in your usual way.
My way would be to import the midi file into my sequencer of choice, and transmit the sysex data over midi. Girl Next Door's method is to use Virus Control. Whatever suits. I think the advantage of using Virus Control is that you can then copy the user-programmed arp from one patch to another, something you cannot do from the synth front panel. Mr O |
