.................................. I hope you get what i'm on about...Here we go :? Right i'm using Logic 5.5.1 so i'm sure you use the same principle for a Later version. Start a instrument Track/part in Logic, for example audio instrument 20.this will be your main VIRUS CHANNEL (Channel Inst 20)it will also be Virus part/instrument 1. So when you want the second part/instrument 2 in your Virus you start up another Track/part in Logic,we will make this Track/part 21,Ok everything clear so far?? Now you have Track/Part 21 in Logic and you want this to go to Virus instrument/part 2.Click on Part/Track 21 in the main Logic window so it is selected you will see your editing parameters on the left hand side. There is a setting for CHA set this to inst 20 (bearing in mind you are still using Part/track 21) and then set your Midi cha to 2 .......................... Now you want the third part/inst in your Virus so you start up another Part/track in Logic,we will make this Part/track 22,Still with me?? Now you have Track/part 22 in Logic and you want this to go to Virus instrument 3.Click on Track 22 in the main Logic window you will see your editing parameters on the left hand side. There is again a setting for CHA set this to inst 20 again and then set your Midi cha to 3. and so on and so on .......................... So it will be like this for a 16 part virus project Logic Track 20..... CHA 20 Midi 1 Logic Track 21..... CHA 20 Midi 2 Logic Track 22..... CHA 20 Midi 3 Logic Track 23..... CHA 20 Midi 4 Logic Track 24..... CHA 20 Midi 5 Logic Track 25..... CHA 20 Midi 6 Logic Track 26..... CHA 20 Midi 7 Logic Track 27..... CHA 20 Midi 8 Logic Track 28..... CHA 20 Midi 9 Logic Track 29..... CHA 20 Midi 10 Logic Track 30..... CHA 20 Midi 11 Logic Track 31..... CHA 20 Midi 12 Logic Track 32..... CHA 20 Midi 13 Logic Track 33..... CHA 20 Midi 14 Logic Track 34..... CHA 20 Midi 15 Logic Track 35..... CHA 20 Midi 16 |
thanks a lot man!

YOU helped me one time and maybe you can help me again or maybe soimebody else..because I have another problem I want to add some plugin effect to my midi tracks so I proceed putting a compressor on midi channel one..it's ok I like it. Then i proceed playng with midi 2 , when <I GO TO see my plugin I sadly discover that The compressor I put on channel one is present on channel 2 midi, but i dont really want it, becase in channel 2 i thought to put another plugin.. How can I manage this situation :?: Thanks for the support! |

can you do add different plugins to your differemt channe? trough pro tools or something other sequencer!
i think that?s really stupid to bounce single tracks! what a shit - i suppose must be a way to get it.. |

If you create a multi-instrument in Logic, you can then have multiple output channels, each with their own plug-ins, no problem.
I have the Snow, and I have a multi-instrument with 4 midi channels in the arrange window, and three mixer channels for the three USB outs. However the problem comes when you want to mute one midi channel of your multi-instrument and all channels will mute - to get around this you have to mute the individual audio outputs in the mixer, not the midi channels in the arrange window. I hope that helped. Scott. |
I have this same problem (like in theme) but in FL8. I can't use two or more sounds... Just one :( Please help...
