Can the TI be used with just midi?

I cant get my TI desktop to just act as a analog synth. I unpluggud it USB and am just using midi. Do I need to do something special?

Also, How do you load patches into this thing?

You simply connect it using MIDI cables and the MIDI IN/OUT jacks on the back of the instrument, like you would any other hardware synth. Knowing what kind of MIDI interface, software, and computer you're using would be helpful.

When you get your midi setup working, patches are loaded (and saved) via system excusive data transfer.
